Product Innovation Workshops
In February we worked with Scottish Enterprise to deliver a workshop giving tourism businesses help to understand today’s digital environment, and in particular the customer service expectations that visitors to Scotland have from the tourism companies they book with.
The event was well received and speakers from firms including Scottish Enterprise, Whereverly, Quest Native and University of West of Scotland helped bring to life the technology that we can use to streamline the customer journey and drive repeat purchase.
One of MBTAG’s remits is to research and develop a new digital product for the regions, and this event was designed to start this process. We knew it was important to incorporate your requirements and input, so the workshop was designed to hear from businesses that had created new products in the digital world and to understand the response from the industry in the regions. This is now in action and will be worked on over the coming months. Check back for more news on this over the next few months
